My Story

Having developed my coaching skills during my corporate career, I was enticed into the world of stand-up paddleboarding somewhat reluctantly at first. As a pretty unfit 40 year old, I really didn't think that SUP was a viable hobby, let alone a career choice! Well, I overcame the wobbling, became an instructor, studied further for my British Canoeing Coaching qualification whilst teaching hundreds of people to paddle and enjoyed lots of adventures along the way. I'm 'Captain' of the Maidenhead AquaPaddle (A free timed 5k event) and I enjoy sitting down sometimes when paddling outrigger canoe. I race when the mood takes me but also cherish time on the Thames at a slower pace chasing kingfishers along the riverbank. My number one passion is coaching.

My aim is to make bespoke coaching accessible to everyone. My sessions can be adapted to suit a wide range of ages and abilities, and there is something for everyone. Whether you are new, nervous, 'all the gear, no idea' or a more experienced paddler looking to take things to the next level, I'd love to help you.
